Swayam Rehabilitation Centre has successfully completed sixteen years of its relentless work for the comprehensive care of persons with different disabilities through various centre-based and home-based rehabilitative services. In addition to this, through periodical training programmes and workshops for the parents/caregivers of these persons with disabilities by the experts in the field to empower them to help their children in the process of their rehabilitation, Swayam has made a sincere effort to minimize the physical, psychological and financial stressors posed on the families of persons with disabilities.

We all are well aware of the various social initiatives and work done under the guidance of our beloved Chief Minister of Maharashtra State, Hon. Shri Eknath ji Shinde sir who has been a guiding light and great support for Swayam since last many years. In this Covid 19 Pandemic every person with disability and their caregivers, like all other common people, have faced several challenges related to rehabilitation of our children. Therefore, at this milestone of our journey, Swayam has taken a new leap to pro-active drive called “Swayam Sphurti Abhiyaan” wherein each and every person with disability and the caregiver of a person with special needs is called to unite on one common platform for the wellbeing of their ward. All caregivers are requested to fill the enclosed Form or link and submit the same in our Swayam Rehabilitation Centre, Ground floor, Koushalya Medical Foundation, Ganeshwadi, Pachpakhadi, Thane (West).
